From small “one-off” runs to large scale production, we inspire new directions in cookware design by thinking differently about conventions.

• Drawings: Do you have files, logos, napkin sketches, just an idea? We have 3-D modeling capabilities in house, however vector file formats are preferred. (DXF, DWG, EPS, AI, SVG)

• Quantity: How many castings will you need? *Try to project the lifetime of this product, it will help us determine what kind of tooling we need to build for you. Is it a long term production part, limited / one-off runs,..etc? 

• Lead Time: Is there a specific deadline for this project? *We generally request 4-6 months for custom production times after project proposals are signed. In some cases, we can provide rush processing.

• Packaging: Will these need to be POP ready, or nestled into gift boxes? Tell us what you need and we’ll make it happen.

• Budget: Serious inquiries are more fun for everyone. Custom cookware is no flash in the pan, so if $10,000*+ scares you, maybe meditate on your request before reaching out. (*not EVERY custom project we starts with this amount, but expect new pattern + production costs to exceed this for any new cookware projects.)

CUSTOM WAFFLE MAKER INQUIRIES:

Commercial grade, electric custom waffle maker appliance: No minimum quantities, waffle design & appliance packages starting at $9K* with tons of variations and flexible options inside each design package. The commercial grade appliance we utilize from Equipex is a work horse countertop appliance that can create anything from waffle cones to taiyaki street food. Inquiry about your custom waffle below!

For stovetop, non-electric waffle makers: This is a phase 2 product line for us after the commercial waffle makers, with an expected launch in Summer 2023. This will be a consumer-facing, market-savvy promotional product or company gift option to customize the 9in cast iron waffle plates for stovetop use. Expect these waffle irons to be around $160-$190 each, and will come with custom tooling charges in the $4K - $6K range. Minimum order quantities are 200 waffle makers (2 plates), with a 7-9 month lead time for full order delivery.

For consumer facing / residential grade electric waffle makers: We are not working with any residential electric waffle maker models at this time. Because of the severe IP and safety hazards associated with “hacking” existing electric waffle makers, along with the common use of aluminum + non-stick coatings on the plates specifically designed for these appliances, this will remain a long-term future project up for consideration, - maybe. We are cast iron people after all, so don’t hold your breath for too long on this one.
