Free and open to the public, this spectacular indoor/outdoor winter event collaborates with some of the Midwest's best artists, makers and local businesses in order to melt and cast hot iron all day during the region's coldest season.
Meet a rock star crew of Midwestern metal casting artists as they create unique iron castings all day. Enjoy music, local beer tastings and of course endless amusement inside the awesomeness of Sector67, where this whole shee-bang takes place.
Get Involved: Workshops available
For those adventurous people out there, we even offer an opportunity to make something of your own that's cast in molten iron. We have a few different sand mould making workshops around Madison leading up to the event. To learn more about how to get involved, check out our 2018 Workshops page and jump on the sign up list before all those sandy seats are gone!
DO-It-Yourself: Sand Moulds
For those who aren't the workshop type, we also have plenty of different shaped blank sand moulds that you can purchase and work on at your leisure anytime before the day of the pour.
