Subject to current availability upon arrival at the Gardens
Pay onsite at the Gift store inside Olbrich, or bring a receipt from your online purchase and show to the Gift store after selecting your molds.
Tiles must be returned to Olbrich Botanical Gardens before 4pm on Monday, February 12, 2024 to be included in necessary prep before the pour.

CARVE YOUR SCRATCH TILE

Take your sand mold “scratch tile” home to work on at your leisure
Use any metal object such as a nail, spoon or Dremel tools with a carbide bit to carve your design out of the sand
Check out our TIPS + TRICKS page for some critical mold carving info before you start!
Don’t forget to take a photo of your finished sand mold - This validates that the iron castings belongs to you after the event.

All finished tiles must be returned to Olbrich Botanical Gardens before 4pm on Monday, February 12, 2024 for prep before the pour.
TAKE A PHOTO of your mold before final drop off. Photos are used to verify that it’s your casting at pickup after the event!
Come back on Saturday, February 17, 2024 between 1pm and 3pm to watch us pour molten iron into your carving!
The FeLion crew will hand grind + clean up everyone’s casting as part of the final process.
Pickup your finished casting at Olbrich Gardens starting March 4, 2024 daily, from 10am-4pm.
