Clay & Sand Mold Making Workshops

These classes are for all skill levels, but not for the faint of heart!
Be ready to challenge yourself and open up to a new process of art making to take your cast iron sculpture game to a new level this year. Start with oil clay and end with an incredibly detailed cast iron relief sculpture made from scratch.
These are 2-day workshops.
** FOR PAST STUDENTS OF SIMILAR WORKSHOPS: If you are making your own clay designs at home, you may sign up for just the one day of sand mold making**

If you are more DIY and need to be flexible with your work time, come to the studio to pickup a blank, pre-made sand mold to take home and work on at your leisure. Molds are square, star or double heart-shaped. Instructions to design & carve found on our Tips & Tricks page. Bring back your finished carved mold(s) to the event on February 15th 2020, or drop back off at FeLion Studios when done, anytime before the event.

Come to Olbrich Gardens and hunker down that day to bust out your design onto one of the remaining pre-made blank sand molds available on site. First come first serve while supplies last.
